Restoring Homes. Guiding Decisions.
Restoration directed with intention.
I direct and restore character-rich spaces through atmosphere, materials, and intelligent transformation — bringing together technical renovation, property knowledge, and design across two cultures and three languages
Most consultants offer one thing: taste, or technical know-how, or market access. ModernTribute is built on the combination of all three, held in one pair of hands.
Founded in Oslo as a platform for Scandinavian design, the work today centres on the renovation and transformation of distinctive homes in the south of France — guiding international buyers from the first viewing through to the finished room.
“I had three Chairs in my house. One for solitude, two for friendship, three for society.”
In France, if a project is not clearly defined, the builder will define it for you.
Decisions made early, and made well, are what separate a home that reflects your intentions from one shaped by default solutions.
My role is to define the project clearly — its atmosphere, its materials, its logic — before the first wall is touched.

What I Do
Design & Direction
Interior architecture and atmosphere. The considered choices — light, material, proportion — that give a space character rather than finish.
Renovation Guidance
Managing the transformation itself: defining scope, directing trades, protecting intent from viewing to completion.
Property & Objects:
Scouting, evaluation, and negotiation, plus a curated eye for furniture and antiques that complete a room.
The combination isn't theoretical. It's the through-line of a career across design, auction, and property
Trained at Sotheby's Educational Studies, London. And Noroff school of Technology Norway, Computer Aided Design.
