The Serie 123 is probably the most versatile of Panton designs with many version variations.
Verner Panton worked as an assistant to Arne Jacobsen. Opened his own design office in 1955.
From the 1960s onwards Panton started to experiment with whole interiors designs, with psychedelic colours, wavy shapes and upholstered walls.
This style brought him recognition both in Denmark and internationally.
