Gerhard Berg is a Norwegian designer that had his degree from the Kunstindustriskole ( Norwegian Art and Crafts school ) in 1953. He Worked briefly with Ingmar Relling. And was Employed in 1954 at Vatne Lenestolfabrikk.
From the 1950s he designed for L.K Hjelle and P.I Langlo. Then for Stokke with models Aksla, Classic and, Kubus series.
Main Models include the Florida Chair, Section couch Varia.
Gerhard Bergs worked is defined by particularly organic shapes and colourfull fabric use.
